His work spans a range of objectives aimed at improving the lives of people and the well-being of communities. Whether through professional endeavors or volunteer work, Vikash Ranjan embodies the principles of selfless service and strives to make a positive impact on both his Karmbhumi (workplace) in Japan and his Matribhumi (homeland) in India.

Vikash’s pride in his alma mater, Netarhat Residential School, is evident in his long-standing commitment to the school’s Old Boy’s Association. During the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic, Vikash displayed his altruistic spirit once again. Teaming up with like-minded individuals who share a connection through Netarhat Residential School, he took the initiative to serve the motherland, with a particular focus on the states of Bihar and Jharkhand. Together, they organized their efforts under the structured banner of NOBA GSR (Netarhat Old Boys’ Association, Global Social Responsibility).

NOBA GSR (Netarhat Old Boys’ Association Global Social Responsibility) is a non-profit organization registered in Patna, Bihar (80G) also registered in USA 510©, committed to improving the lives of underprivileged communities in rural India. Through their initiative ‘Sangini’, they have been working diligently to bridge the gender gap and enhance women’s health by currently focusing on menstrual hygiene.

Under the Sangini project, they are actively working to provide access to sanitary products, education on menstrual hygiene management, and healthcare services to women in rural areas. NOBA GSR organize workshops and awareness campaigns to break taboos surrounding menstruation and promote open discussions about women’s health.

NOBA GSR has installed machines in 600 schools, impacting over 150,000 lives

Sangini is a testament to NOBA GSR’s dedication to social responsibility and gender equality. By offering a sustainable solution to menstrual hygiene challenges, we uplift the lives of girls and women, contributing to overall societal development.

Yet, our journey is far from over. With 46 million rural women still in need, NOBA GSR has set a goal to install dispensers and incinerators in an additional 1,000 locations by the end of the next year. This would impact the lives of 400,000 individuals
