As part of the celebrations for Guru Nanak Dev 550th Birth Anniversary Year, the Embassy hosted a lecture by Dr Shunji Hosaka of Chuo University titled “Modern Significance of Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s Philosophy”. The lecture explored the peaceful co-existence of Hindus and Muslims as well as the similarities between Sikh thought and Japanese Buddhism.
