Netarhat Old Boys Association *USA* reminiscent of the” ‘olden”days (“G” silent)

For the first time NOBA-USA got together to celebrate our strong bond of brotherhood in Atlanta, Georgia on NOBA Day. It was two days of fun and reminiscing of the ” ‘olden” days (“G” silent) under the superb guidance of Ram Charitra Sharma Jee 61 Batch (also known affectionately as RC Jee).

The celebration started with dinner at Alok ji’s (1976003) house on 16th November and afterwards everyone surrounding RCji and some other senior most NOBs, nobody wanting to leave for the night.

Next day they had a full day of activities starting early in the morning till late at night. Mid morning and afternoon was filled with introduction of everyone in their own words along with some exciting stories of the past. “WHO AM I” was the Tagline and there was an arrangement of TV screen to showcase old memories ,story write-up etc. I have seen Video clip of every individual and trust me – It was one of the best moment of their togetherness. I couldn’t stopped my laugh while watching only one Jija Ji’s introduction part ( Husband of Somali Swaroop didi , she was the lone female Hatian ( oldest daughter of Shriman Swaroop ji )

Vikram Pearce jee , son of Mr. F G Pearce Jee, one of the founding father’s of our Netarhat was gracious enough to join us for this gathering and share with us the stories from the past (he was 10 years old when his father was tasked with planning Netarhat).

They had some very talented seniors and juniors together entertaining the crowd of 45 Alumni and 25 family members throughout the evening of 17th while Prabhatji taking the role of providing music to everyone’s singing and making them sound good 🙂

Vinod ji’s daughter played multiple songs on the keyboard, while Vinod ji anchored the evening entertainment. Another Alokji (from Dallas) got everyone excited and nostalgic by orating “Rashmirathi” (aftermath was a little hurtful as all the action in the process left him with pain in the back…nothing long-term though!)

Altogether, it was two days filled with love and togetherness. NOBA USA team thank Alokji and Jyotsana Bhabhi ji for welcoming them in their house and making this event possible. The organization skills of Alokji was specially recognized and appreciated by all. Thank you Alokji and Bhabhiji!

Addendum from Alok Jee : Abhay Jee was the star attraction of the meet, everybody wanted a taste of the cocktails he made from the different kinds of juices, fruits, and other alcoholic drinks.
