TODAY IS NOBA DAY AND I AM NOT HAPPY
I am really sad to inform all of you about the sad demise of my batch mate Vinay 27 , 1998-2002 Shanti Ashram and unfortunately this happened on 10th January 2016 when he took this tough decision. He committed suicide – was suffering from Schizophrenia (Meditation induced as per psychiatrists) and running on anti-psychotic medicines since 2013 in AIIMS.

He is one of the brightest students of our batch. After Netarhat , he did his +2 from Bokaro and without any tuition and additional support cracked IIT in his very first attempt . Rank was not good so he decided to give one more try and then joined IIT Mumbai in Civil Branch integrated course – I can still remember his ever-smiling face and less expressive nature. I along with all my batch mates expresses deep and heartfelt condolences to the family in distress and joins in their prayers for the deceased. May the Lord Almighty take the departed soul to her Heavenly Abode and give the entire family strength and courage to bear this irreparable loss.
I can’t express my feelings in words anymore but can request all of you to be more practical and flexible in life. Express yourself please and always talk to someone, whom you feel most comfortable with. Even the most capable kids need support sometimes. The people in your life who believe in you and care (like parents, friends, and teachers) can certainly give you proper guidance with comfortable space when you feel sad. Sometimes, just listening and understanding what you’re going through is enough. Sometimes they can help you work out a problem or help you think of happier things to get your mind off sadness or disappointment.
I urge to all NOBA members whenever you feel sad or disappointed – try to meet/call someone very close to you , Converse and communicate in details and come out in best possible way. If you don’t find anyone available for you – save my what’s app number +81 90 8010 2250 and message/call me anytime.
Regards,
Vikash Ranjan & 1998-2002 batch
